Sharpening knives with a simple trick

If you find yourself with a dull knife and no opportunity to sharpen it, here's a simple kitchen hack: Grab a plate and flip it upside down, utilizing the porous outer edge. Glide the blade across the rim a few times, always in one direction, from the knife handle to the tip and from the back of the knife towards the cutting edge. It's a quick fix for a temporarily sharper blade!
